Terms of Service
Last updated: June 29, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of Python for Oil & Gas (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use.
Free and paid access
Chapters 1 and 2 are free to read with no account; the remaining chapters are free to read with a free account. The interactive code playground, graded exercises, downloads, and AI tutor are part of full access, unlocked by purchasing the book or redeeming a valid activation code.
Licence
On purchase you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the content for your own learning. Activation codes are single-use and tied to one account. You may not share, resell, or redistribute the content or your access.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Paystack. Prices are shown at checkout. Because this is digital content delivered immediately, refunds are handled case by case — contact us within 14 days of purchase if something is wrong.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, scrape, overload, or circumvent access controls of the Service, misuse the AI tutor, or use the Service for anything unlawful.
Intellectual property
All book content, code, and course materials are owned by the author and protected by copyright. Code snippets in the lessons may be used in your own engineering work; the lessons and text themselves may not be republished.
AI tutor
The AI tutor is a learning aid that can make mistakes. Always verify its output before relying on it for engineering decisions. It is provided “as is” without guarantee of accuracy.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for engineering decisions made using the Service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
